Payal is from Nagpur, an artist part of a residency at Chandrangan in May 2024 during which she focused on creating textile panels that depicted the beauty and essence of the Aravalli range in Udaipur, in collaboration with Aavaran.

Her creative process involves several stages, utilising various techniques including embroidery and patchwork, among others. By combining these traditional methods with her unique artistic vision, she aims to create pieces that reflect the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Aravalli range.
