Ashishbabu is an award winning Sholapith artist  who has spent years teaching his craft in a government effort to create a whole world of opportunity for skills in this genre of intricate carving. In a unique design collaboration with Nandita Palchoudhari, he creates stunning shola sculpture, ornamentation and a range of lampshades for the indoors.
