SilaiWali
Silaiwali is a social enterprise in New Delhi which up-cycles waste fabric generated from apparel scraps to create handcrafted decorations by Afghan woman refugees in India. Their products are eco-friendly and support sustainable incomes that helps in building communities of artisans. SilaiWali carefully handpicks beautiful Indian cotton waste to develop a line of simple yet sophisticated rag dolls. Each piece is designed, cut, stitched and embroidered in their studio in Delhi.
