Khalid’s art-works elaborate on his unique visual approach to his traditional craft of Ajrakh, peppered with questions on the limits of traditional craft practices today. He combines elements of Ajrakh craft with layers, masks, brush strokes and erasures creating broken patterns and stand-alone art works.

Each edition piece is made from scratch. It will be virtually the same but with the differences that come from human hands. Since colours are natural, they may vary sometimes because of season.
