Anita Alvares Bhatia
Anita Alvares Bhatia is a prolific artist, illustrator, and avid urbansketcher. Through art, Anita is inspired to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary by interpreting everyday scenes through an emotional response and portraying them as forms of beauty. Anita sketches and paints around different locales of Mumbai and across different cities and countries that she loves traveling to. Through her sketches, she narrates in a storytelling way about places, people, and vibrant life in Mumbai and the various places that she travels to. Anita relishes working with her favorite medium watercolors and is well versed with its form and techniques. Apart from urbansketching, Anita works in her home studio, creating artworks and illustrations for commissions from organisations and individuals.
