Rogan is a complex process of applying oil-based paint, made from boiled castor oil and natural color pigments, onto textile. To combat the incessant demand for the same designs, Rizwan has appropriated designs from a variety of different sources and eras that wittily combine technique with a play of aesthetic resulting in art works that helps to re-observe the craft and the skill.
