LALLA LUHAR & NOORUL KHAN
The once nomadic Gadya Luhar blacksmith community are mostly settled in towns and villages across North India where they serve the farming communities. Increased use of agricultural machinery and foreign mass produced tools means that their source of work is diminishing. Khan is collaborating with Jitender Luhar to add value to his skills by developing a new line of products using the same skills. Light becomes the metaphor of change.
