Arya Green Tara

Tara represents the entire enlightened activities of all Buddha and hence she is called the mother of the Buddhas. Green Tara is typically green in colour in sitting position as her right leg is extended on lotus. Her right hand is in gesture of granting refuge. The practice of Green Tara helps to overcome the eight fears. She is meditated to bring forth fulfilment of all kinds of wish, elimination of suffering and acquisition of happiness in life.
