The richly worked tie-dye compositions on home-spun tussar silks reveal expressions of colored emotions . The movement of color, the irregular edges, and the painterly textures where the colored edges meet and blur all add to the lyrical quality of the design. The work is inspired by the signature colour fields of Rothko.
