Vintage Brass Vishnu Lotus Lamp

This collectible is a rare vintage design in Vishnu lamp. This handcrafted fully brass cast heavy vintage piece adorned a traditional Tamil home at sometime and despite being over 70 years old is in mint condition. The top of the lamp is shaped like a flower bud and its face is finely etched with the "Sricharanam" looking like a blooming Lotus. The sun and moon are carved on either of the Sricharam and are symbolic of light, enlightenment and purity. The base of the lamp is nice and wide with floral etchings on it. A lovely piece that's gathered an enchanting patina over the years.

Care Instructions: Wipe the piece with a dry cloth. To remove residue, use a soft cloth to wash it with water using a cleaning agent such as lemon juice and salt. Do not scrub vigorously or use any chemicals.
