From time immemorial flowers have been an intrinsic part of civilised society, quietly influencing our sense
of Touch, Taste , Smell and, naturally, Sight.
It is this pervasiveness of flora and foliage that I wanted to celebrate.
This show is a decidedly off piste selection of works inspired by flowers, foliage and natural materials.
Some of the works are curated from renown Designers and Artists at the top of their game in their fields -
and others are collaborative efforts :
flights of fancy taking root in textile, lights and objets d’art made of grasses.
The spirit of the show is one of discovery, finding beauty in unexpected ways
and of adding magic to everyday objects
