Vintage Enamel Tea Pot

A beautiful vintage enamel tea pot in an aesthetically pleasing form. A piece that has been sparingly used before, this charming kettle would complete a tea lover's dream of an ideal tea setting as tea pots are functional as well as beautiful decor pieces. Enamelware such as these have European roots and the coating was done to give durability and safety to the kitchenware. Pieces like these were many times a part of the dowry given to brides and were stored in a specific space in the large Chettinadu mansions.
