'LAAL PAAR' AN ART SHOW BY WOLF
ARTIST’S NOTE:
LAAL PAAR : RED AND BEYOND
……..beyond the red; beyond the external, beyond the blood, beyond the physical.......exploring the feminal universe in all of us
Our own experiences during these special times made us delve further into forests, gardens and nature to understand that our healing came from them, the release from the suspension came from growth in nature. And calm came from traveling within, believing in the Shakti inside each one of us. Nature and Shakti, feminine forces, healing us, guiding us down our own rabbit holes to emerge with experiences to share.
There are feminal retellings of ancient stories ,recognition of natural cycles as magical and the power of the feminine, the Shakti in universal symbolism which conveys that we are all connected and as a collective, our consciousness can lead us to a better world.
We take inspiration from Tantra, the original abstract, minimalistic style and symbolism but also because as a path to awakening, it is genderless, honours menstrual blood and conveys that each of us has both masculine and feminine within us, Shiva and Shakti. Releasing the masculine in women is important and as important is releasing the feminine in everyone else. This is a time for the world to embrace their feminine and move towards healing and nurturing inside out.
Using objects, ideas and nuances of the mothers, threadbare now but still bonded and slowly weaving them back together.
