Bag Of Bong
Bag Of Bong was born out of the desire to create something fresh and out-of-the-box, drawing its inspiration from roots in the cultural traditions of Bengal. It is an initiative to retell the stories from every Bengali household. Entertaining, funny, and nostalgic, these stories are brought to you in a brand new avatar, reimagined as art that you can use to brighten up your personal space.
All their products — Wall Plates, Coasters, Posters, Coffee Mugs, Cushion Covers, Food Plates, Dupattas and Sarees — depict stories steeped in rich Bengali culture and upbringing. From old grandmother’s tales to the popular sayings passed on from one generation to another — they bring you all of these and more!
The products are entirely hand-drawn by Trina Mukherjee and feature designs which are the artist’s own. They are made ethically on pre-sanitised plates and coasters with the highest quality archival ink.
