Amit Ambalal is a celebrated artist sho has had more than 40 solo exhibitions in his distinguishes career, across the world. His engagement with the arts extends to a wide ground of historical research, documentation and collection, and his particular interest in the Nathdwara School of Painting has inspired him in his own work. He has authored a book "Krishna as Shirnathji”. His work is in noteworthy public collections and he is the recipient of multiple Indian awards and the the Civitela Reneieri Foundation Fellowship, Italy (2003).
