Vintage Brass Ashtalakshmi Lamp
This vintage collectible is a divine Ashtalakshmi Deepam sourced from South India. Despite being a vintage piece, it's almost unused and is in a very fine condition. The eight manifestations of Goddess Lakshmi are well etched with Gajalakshmi at the centre, flanked by two elephants. The top of the lamp has a Yali on it, a mythical creature symbolic of strength and power. A floral pattern is etched along the base of the lamp, representative of the lotus flower that the Goddess is known to be seated on. The reverse side of the lamp is adorned with a kalash, flanked by two elephants.
Ashtalakshmi deepam represents a group of eight manifestations of Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. She presides over eight sources of wealth. "Wealth" refers to prosperity, good health, knowledge, strength, progeny, and power.

Care Instructions: Wipe the piece with a dry cloth. To remove residue, use a soft cloth to wash it with water using a cleaning agent such as lemon juice and salt. Do not scrub vigorously or use any chemicals.
