Our Kimi dress is a representation of a modified Japanese Kimono. Keeping in mind the Kimono overlap neck and the Obi belt, that's unique to Japan traditions.
Our Kimi dress is made from handloom chanderi by skilled weavers from the legendary city of Varanasi. This handloom fabric is ethically sourced from weaver collectives enabling sustainable livelihoods.
Our Kimi dress has embossed detailing of surface embroidery using resham and zari. These finessed details are crafted by artisans at our studio thus empowering local economies.
Our Kimi dress is delicately finished by hand by local women with a smile on their lips whilst humming their favourite tunes.

Fabric: Handloom Chanderi - 80%Cotton, 20% Silk

Fit Type: Fitted with Zipper

Care instruction: Gentle cold wash using mild soap. Dry in Shade. Do not wring.
No bleach / chlorine / hard detergents. Steam iron and use press cloth or reverse on embellishments. Mild variations and slubs are natural imprints of this craft technique.
Dry clean if needed.
