Shah Nahar Rug

This Merino wool rug is laboriously hand felted by the numdah artisans and lovingly embellished with crewel embroidery by the craftswomen of Kashmir. Playful linework, rendered to resemble childlike crayon drawings. The irregular edges which are a natural outcome of the process of felting are celebrated here as an integral part of the design.

Dimensions: 6’ x 4’

Care instructions: Hand wash with cold water using mild soap and plastic wool scrubber. Flat dry in shade.
